Theme: The Last Letter on Earth: Imagine you are the last person alive with the ability to write. What message would you leave for whoever—or whatever—finds it?
Ages 7-18 yrs
To the writer of the Last Letter on Earth, what an incredible task is before you. You are not just a participant in a competition; you are, for this moment, the final historian, the last poet, the sole guardian of all that humanity was. There is no wrong answer, only your unique voice echoing across imagined time. Speak from your heart—of love, of warning, of beauty, of regret. Let your words be the message you would truly want to survive us. We cannot wait to read the legacy you choose to leave.
Objective
- Provide a platform for personal expression, gratitude, and storytelling.

COMPETITION RULES
- Compositions must be in the form of a letter and contain the elements of a letter (heading, greeting, body, complimentary close, signature line and postscript (optional).
- Entries must adhere strictly to the theme and not exceed 1000 words in the original language. Submitted letters must be through the entry form and high-quality picture of the winner.
- Letter can be handwritten or typed The letter must be on a single side of an A4 sheet of paper, using your best handwriting or typed.
- Entries should be handwritten using a fountain pen or any other type of ink pen, such as a rollerball or ballpoint pen. No other mediums (such as pencils or colored pencils) should be used.
- Doodles, drawings, border designs, and simple artwork are permitted provided they do not affect or cover up the content of the letter.
- Letters must be scanned clearly, the right way up using a printer/scanner or phone scanner – no photos. Complete all sections of the online entry form, attaching your scanned handwritten letter in PDF format .
